WhatsGo

Connect WhatsApp to your tools in minutes

WhatsGo works with any tool that can send an HTTP request or receive a webhook. Here are ready templates and steps for the most popular ones, all on the same API.

n8n

Two importable templates: send a message on any event (a new order, for example), and receive customer replies with webhook signature verification. Tested on n8n 2.43.

  1. 1Download the template file and import it in n8n (Import from file).
  2. 2In the send template, replace YOUR_WHATSGO_TOKEN with the token from Dashboard → Device → API.
  3. 3POST to the template’s webhook URL with eventId, phone and message. eventId is the idempotency key, so a message is never sent twice.
  4. 4In the receive template, paste the webhook secret (whsec_…) and copy its production URL into WhatsGo. Self-hosted n8n needs NODE_FUNCTION_ALLOW_BUILTIN=crypto to verify the signature.
curl -X POST https://YOUR-N8N/webhook/whatsgo-send \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"eventId":"order-1001","phone":"201012345678","message":"Your order is on its way"}'

Zapier

With the standard Webhooks by Zapier step, no special plugin.

  1. 1Add a Webhooks by Zapier step and choose Custom Request.
  2. 2Method: POST, URL: https://whatsgo.business/v1/messages.
  3. 3Headers: Authorization set to Bearer and your token, Content-Type set to application/json, and Idempotency-Key set to the Zap’s unique event id.
  4. 4Data: {"phone":"201012345678","message":"Your text"} with fields mapped from the previous step.

Make

With the HTTP module and Make a request.

  1. 1Add the HTTP module, then Make a request.
  2. 2URL: https://whatsgo.business/v1/messages, Method: POST.
  3. 3Headers: Authorization: Bearer your token, and Idempotency-Key with the event id.
  4. 4Body type: Raw, Content type: JSON, body: {"phone":"…","message":"…"}.
  5. 5To receive replies use the Custom webhook module and copy its URL into WhatsGo.

Postman

A full collection of every API endpoint, generated from the OpenAPI file, to try sending before you write any code.

  1. 1Import the file in Postman (Import).
  2. 2Set the token variable to your token, and baseUrl if you use another address.
  3. 3Run Send a message and follow the status with Get a message.
